Thank you for joining us here at Love Board Games. We’re a family run business of 2 husbands and 2 kids, who are committed to following our dreams. Love Board Games (run by Alex) is subsidiary of LV Yoga/LV Life (run by Luke). We’ve written this information below to help you better understand how we operate and to know your rights when using our services. Please kindly take time to review them…

These terms apply to every order you place on our website. Please take a moment to read these terms carefully. By placing an order, you're letting us know that you've read, understood, and agreed to them. We might update these terms from time to time. Whenever you use our website, please check the terms to make sure you're aware of any changes.
1) Registration
a) To use our services, just complete our online registration form and agree to these terms. By signing up, you confirm that:
i) You're 16 years old or older;
ii) You live permanently in the United Kingdom;
iii) All the information you give us is accurate and current;
iv) You’ve only signed up for one account with Love Board Games;
v) You haven't had an account with us that was terminated before;
vi) You'll follow these terms and conditions at all times.
b) If any of your information changes, please let us know. You can also update your details anytime through the members area.

c) When you register as a Member, you'll choose a password to protect your account on the Love Board Games website. It’s important to keep your password safe so others can’t access your account. If you notice any unauthorized use of your account, let us know right away.

d) Our website is designed for people living in mainland United Kingdom.

e) We strive to keep our website available and running smoothly, but we can’t guarantee it will always be available or uninterrupted. Sometimes, we might need to suspend, withdraw, or limit parts of our website for business or operational reasons.​​​
2) Your Subscription and Billing
a) When you sign up, you'll choose a subscription package. This package includes an initial charge and then monthly charges. By signing up and placing an order, you agree to these charges until you cancel your subscription according to these terms.

b) By subscribing to Love Board Games, you're agreeing to pay monthly subscriptions until either you or we cancel it, based on the terms you agreed to when you signed up.

c) The initial fee is due at the start of your subscription, and then we'll charge your credit/debit card each month on the same date you signed up.

d) You can change or cancel your subscription anytime by emailing us at hello@loveboardgames.co.uk
​
e) Love Board Games can choose not to renew your subscription at any time without giving a reason.
3) Products
a) The product packaging is not the same as the pictures on our website. The product is shipped in a labelled zip bag to avoid damage to boxes and theft/resale of games.
b) If you'd like to buy a product outright, just contact us at hello@loveboardgames.co.uk with your offer. Please note, though, that we’re not obligated to sell any products you want to purchase.
4) Delivery & Care
a) We pack your borrowed board games in special boxes and bags, and we’ll include instructions, return information, and occasionally some extra goodies.

b) You're going to have a blast playing with your borrowed board games. When you’re done, you’ll be looking forward to your next ones. Remember, there's someone else excited to enjoy the games too, so please take good care of them as if they were your own.

c) We kindly ask you not to smoke or vape when you use the board games.
​
d) When you're finished with your board games, please:
i) Make sure all the pieces are there;
ii) Send the games back to us in the same condition you received them;
iii) Notify us of any damage or missing pieces
5) Returns
a) Love Board Games boxes will contain a flyer which explains how to return your board games, ready for someone else to use. Following these instructions will speed up our checking process and help us get your next board games on their way. We don’t want to keep you waiting!
b) Here’s the return process:
i) **Organize Components**
Make sure all game components are sorted and placed in their respective original packets. This includes cards, tokens, dice, and any other small pieces.
ii) **Check Instructions**
Refer to the game’s original packing instructions to confirm that each component is stored within the game bag.
iii) **Box Integrity**
Please use the same box to return the games back to us.
iv) **Seal and Label**
Close the box, but do not seal it. Place it in the postal bag it came in. Seal the bag and attach the return label.
v) **Post**
Go to your nearest EVRI shop and post the box.
6) Return Labels
a) Once you receive your board games, your Love Board Games box contains return information and the return label. You will find, written on the label, the latest day that you need to return the games, before the return label expires.

b) If the return label expires you will need to arrange and pay for the return of the board games yourself.
7) Accurate Address
a) When you place your subscription order and enter your address, please double-check that it's correct. If a board game gets damaged or lost because of an address mistake, we’ll have to charge you the full retail price of the game.
b) We send our games through couriers with recorded delivery. If you or your designated person aren’t there to receive the delivery, we might need to charge you for the cost of redelivery.
8) Cancelling Your Subscription
a) We'll be sad to see you go, but if you decide to cancel your Love Board Games subscription, just make sure to return your current board game(s) to us first. Once we've checked them in, you'll be all set!
b) If your subscription is cancelled and you haven't returned the board game(s) within the time we’ve agreed on, we may need to pass your account to a debt management company. We hope it won’t come to that!
c) We want to ensure everyone has a great experience, so we do reserve the right to cancel memberships if needed.
d) Once your Love Board Games subscription begins, refunds are not available, even if you haven’t borrowed any games. Thank you for your understanding!
9) Missing Pieces
a) When your board game arrives, please take a moment to open it up and make sure everything is in good shape. If anything is damaged or if pieces are missing, just let us know as soon as you can—ideally within 5 days of delivery—by emailing us at hello@loveboardgames.co.uk. If we don’t hear from you within that time, we’ll assume the game was delivered just as described.
b) Once the board game is delivered to you, it’s in your care. If it gets damaged or any parts go missing and you haven't let us know within the time frame mentioned above, we may need to charge you for the repair or replacement. We hope you understand that this helps us keep our games in great condition for everyone!
c) Determining if a game has been returned damaged or incomplete is up to us at Love Board Games. If this happens, you won’t be able to borrow any more games until the balance is settled.
10) Privacy
a) Your privacy is important to us. We will never share your personal information or data.
b) When you subscribe through Love Board Games, your personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy.
11) Non-Payment Policy
a) If your monthly subscription payment doesn’t go through and isn’t paid, your account will be put on hold. One of our finance team members will reach out to you by email or phone to see what’s going on and if we can work something out. We’ll send you a new invoice for the unpaid balance, and once you’ve paid it, your direct debit will automatically reset, and your account will be back up and running.
b) If we don’t receive your payment or hear from you, you’ll get a letter 14 days after the missed payment, along with a return label. Please return your board game(s) within 7 days to avoid any future fees.
c) If we still haven’t received payment or heard from you 14 days after your missed payment, we’ll send you an invoice that includes: (1) the unpaid subscription fee, (2) the retail value of any board games you still have, and (3) a £99 admin fee. If there’s no payment or contact within 14 days of this new invoice, we’ll have to pass your details to a debt collection agency, and legal action may follow. We reserve the right to take these steps if we’re not satisfied with the communication regarding your outstanding balance or the return of your board games.
12) Liability
By subscribing to a Love Board Game plan, you agree that we are not liable for any harm, or damages related to the purchase or use of goods, services, resources, content, or any other transactions made in connection with any products that we supply during the subscription.
13) Price Changes
a) We promise to give you a heads-up about any price changes. If we do make a change, it won’t kick in for at least 30 days. This gives you plenty of time to decide if you want to cancel or adjust your subscription.
b) We might need to change or remove a specific board game or service from time to time, and we reserve the right to do so without giving notice.
14) Raffle
Raffle will only be held once we have surpassed 10 paying members.
15) Time off
​
Being a small, family run business (with children), we unfortunately do not have a contingency for time off. This means that we reserve the right to suspend our business services at any time. We will endeavour to give sufficient notice of any planned absences, providing options for your membership level during this time. There may also be times of unplanned absence. Again, we will endeavour to communicate and provide options. Thank you for your understanding.
Finally, we are a small, family-run business – not a big corporation. We ask that you kindly treat us the way that you would like to be treated. We ask that you’re respectful of our property (the games) and our services. We’re good people, trying to set good examples for our children, by teaching them how to follow their dreams. If you have an issue with us, we’d appreciate the opportunity to talk to you about it, rather than finding out from an online review. Please don’t be that person! #supportsmallbusinesses
